Description

Overnight oats are a healthy and filling breakfast or morning snack. I'm not a big fan of their typical consistency and texture. This recipe changes that! Blending the oats gives them a delicious cookie dough-like texture. You can make this recipe by blending or simply mixing the ingredients – your choice! You can also adjust the milk in this recipe to your preference for your desired consistency. I like the oats to be thick like cookie dough. This recipe makes one serving but can easily be doubled or more if making ahead for the week.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Add ingredients (except chocolate chips) to a blender and then blend.
  2. Stir in chocolate chips and pour into an airtight container. You can also sprinkle a few chocolate chips on top.
  3. Refrigerate at least a few hours. Will get thicker as is sits in the fridge.

Note

I use a bullet blender for this recipe but any blender works. You also do not have to blend if you prefer more traditional overnight oats. You can just add ingredients to a jar and mix.

You can use any milk and add more or less for your desired consistency. I usually use almond milk.
